SÓN present supersónic again this summer, in conjunction with Southampton Music Hub. Following two previous summer workshops, each culminating in a final concert performance, and our new Supersónic Christmas event, SÓN are delighted to work once more with some of the city’s most talented young musicians, and inspire them to make even greater music together this summer

Supersónic offers musical youngsters in Southampton, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Wiltshire the chance to learn, make music and develop their skill alongside others at a grade 2-5 level. This year, in addition to the highly successful chamber music workshops added last year, we’re extending sessions to enhance the youngster’s improvisation skills, introducing large-ensemble iPad work, and working with the players as they write their own collaborative large scale music – all of which we’ll perform in the final showcase.
