  • By entering this free competition, you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of the terms & conditions of this competition.
  • This competition is open to anyone under the age of 16 on the date of the closing date – 21st June 2016
  • This competition is not open to employees, advisors or interns of the són project (promoter), their families, and any other company connected with the competition.
  • Entries must be received by Tuesday 21st June 2016 at 23.59 GMT (closing date). Entries that are illegible, incomplete, corrupted or which fail to be received for any reason, will not count. The promoter is not responsible for entries delayed or lost via any transmission method. Automatically generated entries or entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be counted.
  • Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
  • All entries must be a scanned or photographed attachment of an original piece of two-dimentional artwork.
  • Entries may be in any style, size or format – as long as they adhere to all other terms and conditions set out here.
  • All correctly completed entries will be reviewed by our judge, James Mayhew, by Tuesday 28th June 2016. One entry only will be determined as the overall winner, and up to two runners-up. Any and all winners will be notified accordingly by email. The decision of són and any/all judges of this competition are final and we are unable to enter into discussion concerning entries, results, or the awarding of prize/s
  • The first prize is a chance to conduct the orchestra formed for the supersónic summer school, at their final performance at 3pm on Sat 23rd July 2016, plus a £10 book token.
  • The two runners-up prizes consist of a £5 book token each.
  • All prizes are not transferable and there is no cash alternative.
  • The final choice of music for the purposes of the first prize lies with the Artistic Director of són.
  • Events may occur which render the awarding of any or all prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and the promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary, amend, suspend or withdraw any prizes with or without notice.
  • The winners will be notified by email within ten days of the prize draw. The winners must claim their prize within 30 days of the promoter sending notification. If any prizes are unclaimed after this time, they will lapse and the promoter reserves the right to offer any unclaimed prizes to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
  • The winners agree to the promoter’s use of their name, town of residence and photograph or their submitted artwork in relation to the promoter’s publicity material.
  • The promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running this competition, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this competition, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the promoter for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw.
